Just a few steps from many places of interest in the picturesque Old Town, the City Hotel Adler is ideally situated. The Niederdorf promenade starts right at the hotel's doorstep. The animated pedestrian area offers many small craft and curiosity shops as well as trendy speciality boutiques, whose products often reach cult status.
 
From March until December, curiosities and Swiss crafts can also be found at the Zürimärt market located in the Rosenhof. The artist Heinz Blum has decorated the Rosenhof-Passage with pictures of the left and right banks of the Limmat. On a rainy day, the "miniature Limmatquai" will conveniently replace a city walking tour. Sightseeing without getting wet.
 
Because of its comfortable size, Zurich can easily be explored on foot: Shopping on the famous Bahnhofstrasse, swimming in Lake Zurich, visiting the market on Bürkliplatz or taking a stroll on the Lindenhof. Zurich's main railway station, the Hauptbahnhof, is only two tram stops away and the airport can easily be reached within 15 minutes.
